Hello all! I'm not sure if this will resonate with anyone, but I wanted to put it out there and see. The assignment for this video was to create a multimedia essay. So I worked with what I had: a cell phone camera, a free video editing program that I downloaded, a really beat up guitar, and the constant presence of my son. I ended up collaging every bit of it. Even my words are totally rearranged from the order in which I first wrote them. It's not my best piece of writing, and I think it's pretty rough all around, but even that lends itself to my message that when you're a mom you're always multitasking and you're always working with what you have.

I hope you enjoy it! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k6JwY0r557c

It's very good.  You hit the nail right on the head about motherhood as well as single motherhood.  Your video reminds me of the days I used to spend with my older son when he was very young.

I pray for the day Family Court recognizes that CHILDREN have rights, parents only have PRIVILEGES.  Only then, will I know my child is safe.
