Just have to have a brief whine. I just found out that I lost my $1000/month cleaning contract. It was perfect because it only took an hour or 2 per night. Other than that, our income is child support with a small amount brought in from my soap business. I guess I was severely underbid. Anyway, I potentially could have taken baby with me(I use only non-toxic cleaners, mainly elbow grease). This just really will stretch us. Being 9 weeks pregnant, I seem to barely have enough energy to comb my hair, never mind find a job. Arg, there is just so much I want to get done before baby but I will also need maternity clothes, diapers, ect. Usually, I don't let lack of funds get to me but it is right now. Hmm, maybe hormones? Anyway, I do KNOW everything will be OK, I just needed to have a cry and a vent.

That stinks. Can you have them write you a letter of recommendation to take with you as you look for a new gig? At least you have some experience, so I'm sure somebody will hire you. Best wishes!

I'm sorry I hope that you find an even better cleaning contract that pays more.

good luck, I am sure you can find something else. Maybe residential cleaning?

Thank you everybody. I'm feeling better today. The way I've been feeling, it'll be fine to catch up on sleep for a day or two. The residential cleaning idea is a great one. Hopefully, my old jalopy will be fixed soon and then I'll do that. I really like being able to set my own hours and work around the kids. Also, if I could establish a clientelle now, it is still feasible after baby. A letter of reference from my old job will help me get started, too.
Thank you all so much. I know hormones probably are playing a part but I'm just kind of wimpy feeling lately. It's nice to not feel alone.

Uh....do you live anywhere near me by some 1 in 10,000,000 chance? I desperately need someone to help me with my out of control house, and would hire you in an instant!

People are always looking for household help. The only problem is, no benefits. Anyway, I hope something profitable comes up for you soon.
