I am currently going through a divorce. I have two little girls and have been a SAHM. I know that obviously I am going to have to work but I am wondering what programs are out there for single moms to help out with finances and such?

Any advice would be great...

I am still a sahm. I just do babysitting from home typically. We are also in a great subsidized apartment. I don't get a welfare check or anything like that but I'm sure that sort of thing is out there.
You could always think about working from home in some fashion.

Well, there is public assistance (welfare). It's there for people in need.
You could get both cash assistance and foodstamps (depending on how much income/child support you have.)

Other than that, I don't know of any organization that helps. Wish I did!
