We are shocked, terrified, excited(ish), and anxious. One of the heartbeats was a bit weaker than the other two...but she told us to count on three. Out of all the years our FS has been working (long time) she has only had two other people have triplets--she is that careful--so she was pretty shocked herself. Oh my goodness...we don't even know what to think right now.

Lise and Cananny! Wow... Congrats!jumpers.gif!! You must  be thrilled and overwhelmed at the same time!  I don't know if this will help, but during the early days after we found 2 heart beats at the 6 week ultrasound any time I felt anxious I would ask myself would I rather be expecting 2 or not at all?  Our twins are now 5 moths old and we could not be happier. Surprisingly 2 is not double the work/cost of one (it's probably 1.5 x the work and double the joy) so 3 will be doable and amazing!

Was there a recommendation at some point for a book about multiples? I thought so...but looking back I couldn't find it.

Hey everybody!  I agree with rs11, it's so nice to see all these newly pregnant mamas in here.  Lots of babies coming soon!

We're doing pretty good over here.  Everleigh already weighs 9lbs and 2oz as of Thursday (she was born at 7lbs 6oz) and she turned three weeks old on Saturday.  She is such a love.  DW is doing really well, too.  Her supply is ... considerable, and Evie frequently will play rather than seriously nurse and cause DW to let-down and spray milk everywhere.  Nobody is particularly thrilled about that.  Sometimes DW's breasts just let-down all on their own, no baby crying or anything.  And she says it hurts sometimes, is that normal?  So we're thankful that there's plenty of milk, at least.

Another trick of Evie's is to cluster-feed at night before bed, usually starting around six or so, and she gets overfilled and then she vomits all the milk up.  She doesn't seem very bothered by the vomiting, but it's a considerable amount.  It's not projectile vomiting, and it does not seem painful, keeping her upright does not help, and she always wants to nurse again afterwards.  DW tries to keep giving her the less-full breast in order to keep her from vomiting, but we haven't had much luck yet.  Hoping it's just a phase...

Next week, DW is hanging out with her mom and they want to sew a ring sling.  DW remembered seeing someone post a pattern here, could that person post it again please?

As always, gotta leave you with some photos!

Lisdea - I recommended "When You're Expecting Twins, Triplets, or Quads" by Dr. Barbara Luke (http://www.amazon.com/Youre-Expecting-Twins-Triplets-Quads/dp/0060957239); we found it to be very helpful with our twin pregnancy.
