I thought this might be of interest on this forum. My new children's book was recently released by Magination Press. It's called This Day in June, and it's a rhyming story for very young children about an LGBT Pride celebration. There's also a section in the back for older readers about LGBT history and culture, and a guide for parents and caregivers about how to talk to kids about sexual orientation and gender identity.
I bought a copy of This Day in June a few days ago, and I highly recommend. The illustrations are really great and it's fun to read. It's nice to have an LGBT-themed book in our collection that is more than a family story (although I like those books to).
