Our baby arrived Sunday at 3:30 am in the birthing tub after an incredible 4 hour start to finish labor with our 23 month old saying wow, wow and yelling Charlie Charlie when we saw it was a boy!
It was an incredible birth, and life with the 2 boys has been perfect, we are all sleeping well, the boys are both nusing-the tandem thing is incredibly sweet complete with Henry holding Chalies hand and we are getting to know each other.
What a great time.
Thanks to all who have written. Life with Charlie at almost 2 weeks is great. Henry has been incredible, so loving and seemingly showing no signs of distress except he has developed a pronounced fear/dislike of the bathtub. Everytime we suggest getting a bath he says"baby water poop" We try to reassure him that there will be no more babies or poop coming out in the tub, poor guy!
We live in a very rural community and tonight went to a local volunteer fire department turkey dinner, as always we are amazed by how welcoming and accepting people are. When the 75 year plus woman at the door asked who the mother of the baby was and we said we both are she didn't miss a beat saying, "what luckey boys to have 2 of you" Yea!
DH and I just had a new baby girl, 4 hour labor w/ Henry in the room as well! Our little Hank is almost 21 mos. Evelyn came on 2/7.
When Evie was crowning our little peanut was heard to whisper "oooh, scaaawwy." Were doing tandem too. Yeah for two boobs!
Congrats again!
