hell yeah, get me in on that idealistic dreamland too!

tonight DD was watching a cartoon where someone gets turned into a squirel.
she said to me: mama, I wish someone would turn me into a squirrel, then I could find a girl squirrel to do love with me and have babies.
!

ahhhh, my girl :
I told her she doesn't have to be a squirrel to love a girl and she can love anyone she wants to (when she's grown up)

majikfaerie: Your DD is awesome.

Living with my DW, ourcat.gifAstrid, my mom and dad, and their dog and cats, too.  Hoping to start TTC with my OSO as baby-daddy soonish!

AH joy - a quiet house with sweet toddler sleeping next to me and my beloved MacPowerBook....

'round these parts I've settled back into semi-single life (DP is deployed) and getting in a groove with DD. I'm getting along amazingly well with my Mama which is a miracle in and of itself.

I have to say though - my afternoon playdates with DD at the beach across the street make for some NICE jogging bikini girl watching - because when your only bed companion is two years old you need visuals for your alone "shower time" and I'm all about my fellow fitness mamas. I try not to stare like a totally unsexed perv though, just smile like that Mom digging a hole in the sand with her DD on the beach....he he he

DP came back...
well, it's interesting.
I just feel stressed and irritated all the time.
and its just weird.
I can't really give details, but in bed... I just felt bored. like, its just not what I wanted.
can I say that?

my gf from the rainbow said it perfectly:
its like you'd really really love a good cup of strong coffee, and someone gives you tea.
well, its nice tea, you can drink it, and maybe even enjoy it, but it's just not that cup of coffee you wanted.

Yeah - I live in an idealistic dreamland.
I'd like that book too.

May I ask a question or two?

How out is everyone?

Did you lose friends when coming out?

I am very "out." Since most of my friends are bi or extremely open minded about most things, never been an issue.

My family of 3 (plus pup) Indigo (Aimee), Rob (dp), Ryne (ds) & Phebe (dog), plus my BIL's family of 3.

I'm semi out, my family doesnt know, but pretty much all our freinds who matter know..... and the others just have never asked or caught on, so we let them sit in the dark We don't hide or pretend to be someone else around them though.

I've been out for forever, but have never screamed it to the world. Just answered honestly if anyone asked, and acted the way I wanted to act regardless of where I was or who I was with.

My mom still blanches a little whenever I mention anything remotely having to do with purty girls.
