Hi everyone !

Thanks for the new thread Quasar !! Hopefully its a lucky one !!

Update on belly pain : it could be due to the trigger shot (ovidrel)
(i bolded it because it could be useful to others here !)

I read last night that ovidrel can cause swelling of the stomach and that really feels like what I have been experiencing. It is much better now so I wont worry about it but it was something !

As for the rest of the evolution of things on my side, I had another temp rise this morning (5DPO). I am feeling very emotionnal... and my right boob is sore (yeah, I know, why only the right one ??)... so who knows !!!

Happy weekend to all !

Thanks, quasar for taking on the thread keeper challenge!

Can I be moved to waiting to know? We had a clinic IUI yesterday and DW attempted the second at 6:00am today. She got just past the cervix, but not actually all the way up, but I think she did a good job. Hopefully that was enough of a piggyback.

Please move me to taking a break. We have a lot going on at the moment, we may not be ready to try for a few months.

I won't be around much. I wish I could talk about it but it's a lot to explain. I will be back in a few months. I just have a lot going on.

Coco-- I am an optimist, but things look good for you!
Quasar-- thanks for the new thread (I should probably take that one on sometimes given how long I've been hanging out here, but I have no idea how to do it!)

Here we are on 9DPO (or maybe it's 10-- wow, I think that's an indication of how chill I've been so far!), and NOW I'm starting to obsess. Today my temp went up again. Higher than it usually goes (and I don't think it's because I'm sick). And I've been tired and cranky today. Oh, and hungry. Now I think I"m pregnant. Still too soon for us to test... going to wait until next friday most likely.

Me too. somewhere between 9 and 11 days. (Of course, we don't know exactly which day she ovulated... AND she's not temping) We are testing friday too. Glad to know I'm not the only one shooting for friday!

Hey, Coco, I'm sitting here at 4 DPO and feeling pretty crazy emotional today too! I keep telling myself that it can't possibly have anything to do with being pregnant or not since it's so early....but I'm having a hard time convincing myself!

Sure thing ruvalokiteshvara!

I have a question... what does implantation spotting look like? I had some odd brownish spotting this evening that was more watery than my normal pre-AF spotting. I am not due for AF for another 4 days or so. Maybe I'm looking too hard for signs (I swear, I'm trying to be good ), but this just sort of surprised me since I'm not exactly prepared to start AF yet and it was a different consistency to AF stuff. The only other 'symptom' is that I have been pretty tired all day long. But I'm normally a sleepy person and generally the day AF starts, I am pretty fatigued.

So, we sent a letter to a potential known donor a week and a half ago. No response. Rumor has it he's out of town until April. Arghhh!!!!! Too much waiting

jen, not really being a nerdy language mind, the best i can describe is that it is all equally emphasized (basically i added my nickname "ru" as the first syllable of the (i think it might be sanskrit?) word "avalokiteshvara" (who was the boddhisattva of compassion) to make "ruvalokiteshvara." so, if you are familiar with sanskrit yoga terms, i guess you would pronounce it kind of like one of those! Quasar had another weird temp thing this morning. We got up early thinking we might go out befoe I went to work (yeah right) and her temp was 98.04. Then when she got up at her normal time, temp was avg post-O temp of 98.40. This is the 2nd time this week this has happened. I know that first temp had us both really down. : All I did was dream of pregnancy tests for the next 4 hours. : And of course it was like hundreds of tests all with different results. It sucked.

To answer Quasar's question of what part of the TWW is the worst? the 4-7 days before AF is due where anything might be a symptom and you cling to desperate hope with each temp.

Yes I AGREE !!!!!

I had a wierd temp this morning, we went to bed at 3AM yesturday due to going out on the town (winter all nighter museum and lights festival) and this morning I had a very low temp at my regular time... but when I temped again after falling back asleep it was back up high... FF told me to record the low temp with a note, but i dont like it, its ruining my perfect chart (and therefore is sapping up my hopes...) !!!

can we be moved to waiting to know?

Thanks we did 2 cycles, Friday and Saturday. We might go for a third today? My OPK was positive Fri am and stayed positive through Sat am?? usually I only have 1 day of positives?? do y'all think I should go for another insem? This evening would still be within 36 hours of yesterdays positive OPK??

Friday's insem was a bit *light* as KD had to go get his swimmers counted earlier that day. He had a hard time producing at the clinic in a office full of BAD 70's straight porn!! He put a slip in the suggestion box demanding Gay male porn too!! Poor Guy!!

And then when he got to our house Friday night our internet was down, no porn again! EEeeekkk!! He said "You guys don't even have a picture of a penis do you?" I offered our Grays Anatomy book, but he wasn't impressed

I know it only takes one swimmer...that might be about all we got out of him that night

kjm- You're poor KD! As far as if to inseminate again or not... I don't really think that the fertile period depends too much on how long the positive OPK lasts. With that said, if you have access to your known donor, and he's willing to give agian, I would say go for it!

Coco, I was on day 11 past O when I had the spotting. AF came on day 15 the last cycle and I think 14 the time before. If this is AF stuff, then this would be the shortest cycle I've had since I was about 13 and that would make me really angry. : Not sure what to make of things.

Well, I couldn't just let my pee sit there in a cup without testing on it... Sigh, BFN for me at 12 DPO today. think my temps are truly going down, which was the trend last time before my period. But I still couldn't resist taking the test today. I was so hopeful for several hours last night after I had that spotting, but now I'm just feeling discouraged again and thinking about next cycle...

want2bemoms and quasar, I FEEL you today! I am HATING this part of the TWW right now... 11 DPO and feeling so cranky, irritable, and possibly nauseous, though I only feel nauseous when I think about whether or not I'm pregnant. Funny thing!

KJM I didn't realize you guys were back in the game. Yipee! I'll be keeping fingers crossed for your TWW!

The question remains... how did the pee GET in the cup...

Sorry for kidding around such a serious topic... I'm so sorry about the BFN... but you know if you implanted yesturday night, I doubt it would be positive today... give yourself a little bit more time...

But I know its hard.
