Hi everyone,
This may be a long shot but...my DH is having trouble falling asleep at night and something that he had in the past was some sort of a sleep pillow (it was thin and and some herbs and things sewn inside that he said acted almost like "chemical warfare" he zonked right out after laying his head down on it).

Anyone have any clues/ideas what the ingredients might have been? How about directions on how to make one myself?

Thank you all so much for any help!

-Kim

hi, mama.
i have made these in many sizes. just stuff a flannel rectangle any size with flax seeds and dried lavender flowers. u can pick both up at the hfc. i like to make a pillowcase so you can wash that. u can zap the pillow in the nuker for a minute or so and it works great for pain. also, i know, for sleep, some folks use buckwheat hulls and also, hops. these are harder for me to find, so i just use lavender and flax, works great around here. hth

I'd definitely use hops, it makes a huge difference to mine- I also use lemon balm.
