I am a messy eater. I have a dozen knit maternity tops with big permanent food stains right in the front and center. And my baby is OUT of my belly now. So, I don't need them as maternity shirts and I can't give them away. I want to recyle the arms and backs into baby pants. I like the Sckoon style with the contrasting circle sewn into the crotch. I have one pair, but it won't lay flat so I can't trace and copy it. Any ideas on where to get a pattern or how to wing it?

Cresent Moon Yoga Pants pattern is the closest pattern that I have seen.

HTH!

so I looked more at the pattern, and it's not quite the same......hmmm...

soo looking more at the sckoon pants, the contrasting part reminds me of the soaker piece to a diaper. hmmm...to think more on how to incorperate that piece to a pair of pants.

There is an easy pattern on make-baby-stuff.com but it doesn't have that precious middle panel.
