Psychopath-

"A Personality disorder in which the individual characteristically lacks a sense of personal responsibility or morality and be disposed to aggressive or violent behavior or to sexual deviation."

I'd say that severe damage to a child could be defined as aggressive and violent.

About the DDT thing, there is this interesting article:

http://www.westonaprice.org/envtoxin...des_polio.html

But I am trying to learn more about diagnosis in general. The definition of this disease has changed over the years, but so has the means and reliability of diagnosis. I don't have an answer to the question, but I sure am not scared that ds is going to get paralytic polio.

Welcome!

I think you may have been trying to create a new thread but instead responded in this thread. Also try posting in the Finding Your Tribe area.

Good luck!

Kristin,
Check out the Finding Your Tribes area for a forum specifically for Washington or Idaho and there is a chicken pox thread somewhere else too... I'll see if I can find it...

Here is the one I was thinking of: http://www.mothering.com/discussions...ht=chicken+pox

Welcome to MDC!
