The "you are all so bad!" thread got me thinking about this poll! How many slings/carriers do you all have, and how much do you use each of them? I have:

Baby Bjorn (out of use)
Maya Wrap (use very little)
A evenflow backpack (my DH uses)
KKAFP
KKACP; and
a kozy carrier

I'm coveting a fussybutt solarveil pouch, an ergo, and any type of beautiful silk sling. If we ever have another baby, that's my registry

:LOL

I voted two. I just bought a Maya Wrap from a friend and it should be here next week ( ). I also own a trekker. I think this might be it, but we are talking about ttc next year so who knows what I will want with the new one :LOL

I really haven't kept count. There are two in my car... One in each of four? diaper bags... One or two hanging from the coat rack... :

I voted for 1 because the title of the thread was "How many sling..." but I have a Baby Bjorn and a Zolo - so 2 carriers!

DH mainly used the Bjorn, and I do occasionally.
The Zolo is our carrier of choice though!

I voted one bc of the thread title, too. I have one sling, which I use several times a week.

I also have a retired Baby Bjorn, and a barely used Baby Trekker.

I have:

Ellaroo
Didymos
Pack-a-Baby
2 KKAFP
1 KKACP
1 KK Padded sling
1 Zolo sling

On my merry way to order a Hotsling.....

I have an OTSBH - don't use it much anymore; NoJo - used it during winter since it fit over my coat; a KK solarveil - use that the most now. Also had 2 snugglis when she was 0-4/5 months.

hmm, I have been giving away all the ones I didn't like (sling-eeze, OTSBH type, snuggli carriers...) and many of mine are lent out right now (DS at 19 mos wants to be held in my *arms* only!!). So all that I have in the house are my Walking Rock Farm sling-baby, which I LOVE LOVE LOVE, and a pouch I made which I LOVE even more than the WRF one, but it is ripping so I need to get on the ball and make a new one before this baby arrives...

Others that are lent out right now are:

Hip hammock
baby bjorn
home-made sling, maya type but w/ padded rails

Oh, we have an *old* kelty back pack and a worthless Gerry back pack too.

I think the rest are gone...

I really want:

a Kozy
a KKFP
a WRF summer slingbaby
a wrap sling maybe a moby? or an ellaroo
a hug-a-bub

hum dee dum, yes I'm an addict

I have these:

Baby Bjorn
Nojo (yuck)
Maya Wrap
Maya Pouch

I like the pouch best, but dd doesn't care to be worn. She either prefers the stroller or to be carried, both of which I indulge.

I have 4 right now:

Maya Wrap
Heart 2 Heart
Mesh water sling
Mei Tai (my most recent acquisition and I love it! )

I want to get a Moby but DH says I don't need another carrier. Oh I forgot I also bought an ellaroo wrap but I returned it because I found it too difficult.

Let's see...

Slings in frequent rotation:
KKAFP
Kozy
Maya Pouch

Other slings:
OTSBH
Maya Wrap
Baby Nest sling
Ellaroo wrap
homemade rebozo
bjorn
homemade fleece wrap
KKACP
MamaBaby
Cotton Zolo
Evenflo frame backpack (for dh)

So that would be 14...which would make me a junkie :LOL

Slings I am coveting:
a longer wrap sling, maybe a Girasol
Ellaroo padded ring sling
hotsling
moby
silk zolo

Oh boy. Is there a 12 step program I could check myself into?

-Kate

ETA the slings I just bought

I have:

a Baby Bjorn type carrier - loaned to a friend

a WAHM ring sling - loaned to a friend

a Maya Wrap - regular sling right now

a KKAFP - was the regular sling, now too hot

and I should have a Kozy late this week or early next!!!

I am also about to order a Hotslings pouch for me and a Tentoes pouch for dh. If we get a pool pass, we'll probably get a Solarveil. I'm a sling juunkie wannabe!!

I now have :

KKAFP love it! -but dd is getting a little heavy for it
Kozy -had it for about 4 weeks... pretty nice great weight distrubution.
Homemade fleese wrap -can't wait to try it with a new born.

What i want b4 the next baby comes along...
hotsling or some kinda "regular sling"
baby bjorn - think a friend is going to lend me one
KKACP- for the hot summers.

Well, I just bought my first sling early this morning (a Maya Wrap), but I know I will end up getting more, mainly so I can have a variety of colors! :LOL DH will need a sling too because I don't think he'll want to wear the multi-colored one I bought (fabric 37).

I voted one because of the title. I have:
a nojo
a snuggli that converts from a sling to a front carrier, although it's currently loaned out.

I'm waiting on a handmade sling from the TP and I just ordered an EBMT that I can't wait to get!

Amy, mom to LadyBug, SnuggleBug and StinkBug.  Expecting BabyBug in August 2011.

Well, let me list then I'll vote:

Baby Bjorn (used early on, dh likes it and I'm sure it'll get use with #2)

Nojo (yuck. period.)

Maya Wrap ( started my sling addiction.)

Cozy Baby Fleece pouch

Ergo (ok)

KK Solarveil ring sling

Old Gerry backpack from 80s... I actually really liked it. Lightweight, great for around the house. Easy to use.

Unknown frame backpack - given to us by my bil, purchased in England. Ok.

A pouch sling picked up at a garage sale and a ring sling I made that both sit in the back of the closet - need good homes!

So of these, my "staple" carriers were the Maya Wrap, Cozy Baby fleece pouch, and the Solarveil ring sling. I think these three round out my collection pretty well - although I want to buy a wrap for the new baby.

And then I'm done. Really. I am. I promise.

:LOL

I voted "2".

I have....

Baby Bjorn (which is retired because he outgrew it- it saved my sanity during ds's reflux days)

Kangaroo Korner Fleece Pouch (used from 3mos. to currently at 20 mos.! Love it!!!)

However, I do have to admit that I have tried several. If they didn't work for us I either returned them or resold them on the Trading Post. So, in that category I have bought and sold...

Nojo (awful! I could never get it snug enough)
Baby Back-Tie (DS didn't like it- couldn't get comfortable)
Ergo (I didn't like it- couldn't get comfortable)
Kissasling (didn't feel sturdy enough for me- sold it)

So I guess I could be considered a junky!!! :LOL
