When do you transition LO from napping in a sling to napping in a bed/crib? - Mothering Forums

Just curious...With DD I slowly transitioned her to napping in bed rather than a sling around 13 months, DS will be 12 months soon and thinking about what to do...Nap routine for all is going fairly smoothly right now, so I hesitate to change a thing...but then again, it would be nice to have some time completely to myself (for yoga, or sewing, etc.).  Wondering when others make the switch...

I don't use the sling as much at home for naps but love it while we are out. At home though, I hold him for almost his whole nap. He'll be a year in 10 days and I've started putting him down after he's been asleep a little while so I can get a few things done.
