Hi there
I want to buy a new carrier to carry dd. She is 7 months old and 21 lbs. I have a Bjorn, a kindersling, and a frame backpack. I am on the waitlist for a kozycarrier. My Bjorn was okay to wear when she was smaller; I am not that keen on tube slings, and the backpack, while great for hiking, is too big for everyday. I end up just carrying her all the time - something that is not the most satisfactory... especially for ds, 2.5 years old.

I would like to get something that I could wear on my front or on my back. I kind of like the look of the ergo and of the ellaroo wrap... Any suggestions would be great - thanks!

Well, you're already on the wait list for a Kozy so your dilemna seems solved to me. It must be difficult to not be impatient though. As you will soon see, it is a wonderful carrier.

Thanks Jamama,

I will eventually get my kozy, but I was also thinking of maybe getting an ellaroo - do you know anything about them?

Thanks

I really like my new EllaRoo, but it is the kind of thing that I prefer to use if DD will be carried for awhile continuously. Also, I know it can be done, but I'm not sure how easy it would be to nurse in it. The comfort factor is amazing, though, and it's much easier to use than I would have suspected.
