For those who have used both...do you have a preference? I was looking at the sakura bloom slings and debating which one to get.
Is there a great benefit to having two layers, or will one cut it?

It depends on the weight of the linen as well as the size of the baby and the weather. I like a two layer sling with bigger kids, but with a tiny baby one layer is plenty.
In the winter though, or if you are in intense air conditioning, that added layer can be handy with a little one who isn't goo at regulating body temperature yet.
I have a double layer Sakura Bloom sling and I'm totally in looooove with it.
I like the two layers for the support it gives, the shoulder part is nice and wide and very comfy. It feels secure and supports the weight of my 25 lb 13 mth old quite well.
I always get compliments when I wear it and I also like the fact that I can wear it two different ways (Reversible). Like the previous poster said it is a bit warmer too, not by much though. (These Canadian winters are cold!) I did find it quite expensive, but I'm very happy with my purchase.
