Hi all, I'd love your opinions. I'm looking to get a woven wrap and am so lost as to what brand/type of material I want.  I live in Hawaii so it's warm and humid most of the time, so I'd love a light weight wrap. Not a sporty-water type wrap, just one that isn't too heavy. For example, I have a maya wrap ring sling and it is way to thick & hot, even though I've washed it a ton.

There is 1 other babywearing mama in my area who has a Girasol, and I really liked the weight. What other brands/materials would you recommend?

Gypsy Mama Bali Breeze

Or I've heard Vatanai is really good for warm weather.

Try the Woven Wraps forum at thebabywearer.com.  There are a ton of threads on summerweight wraps right now.  Gobs of info,

Is the Bali Breeze like a thin, woven material? Or is it like those sarongs you can buy when you are at the beach, because thatʻs what it looks like in the pics?

It's a thin woven.  I wish it felt more like a sarong, but it's not that silky soft.  Although that probably wouldn't hold a knot well, either.

Just wanted to say that a Neobulle is not a good option--heavier than the maya wrap material.  I need a lightweight one too!  notes.gif
