Can you use a sarong for a wrap? It's just a long piece of fabric. . . any ideas on how you woud tie it? TIA!

I used to but it is not very comfy. I was desperate at a ziggy marley concert and had one babe on my back so I put my other babe in the sarong. I rolled it lengthwise a bit and then tied that side around my waist, put her on my hip and pulled the sarong up around her body then rolled and tied the top together over my opposite shoulder. Just experiment. My DD's carry their dolls like that now.

Thanks for your reply! I figured it might not be my most comfy option, but it's only temporary. I am waiting for my sling to come in the mail & Farmer's Market is tonight!

Hi Carrie! I ended up giving in & buying a Moby Wrap at the Thursday night Market (our Farmer's Market is more like a street fair than pure F.M.). I think I am heading towards becoming addicted to wraps, slings, etc. just like I am to cloth dipes! :LOL

Sarongs are the only thing I use. I them b/c they're always so festive and I can actually afford to have a variety. I grab opposite corners and tie it so the knot is right in front of my shoulder. It's more comfortable to me than a ring sling I used to use.
