Depends on how big ya are and what carries you want to do! your not a big lady as I know so I would say 4-5 yards would allow you to do all the carries you want, but if your not planning on the longer of the carries you could probably get away with 3 easily! (my non-stretchy one is 6 yards and just about perfect but I am a big girl! )
Yup, it definitely depends on you I am a big gal and sadly found that the non stretchy wrap I bought is not big enough. Whereas the same size stretchy baby bundler is perfect on me. Ah well, live and learn!
3-4 yards sounds pretty good if you arent too big like marnie said, but its better to start longer just in case. once you know what size and carries work the best for you, you can always cut one end and re-hem!
I'm thinking of trying to make my own wrap. How wide are they usually? I'm not to "crafty" - how easy of a sewing project is this? (I don't have a sewing machine). Do you prefer stretchy fabric to non-stretch?
