Ok so its not really made by Old Navy but its made OF my Old Navy jeans... lol. I picked these jeans up a while back at a fee market for .20 and have LOVED them. Well the wear and tear was too much so I found a new use for them. Here's my Asian carrier made of my old fave jeans. Really comfy and fits my style perfectly! I washed it so all the edges would fray.

Oh it would have looked better if she hadnt stretched her head out. She likes to lean way back to try to hang upside down. Silly girl!

ETA: Inside of carrier where straps are sewn in. I sewed along all the edges to reinforce it.

Wow, that is way cool. I've been thinking of sewing and ABC to try one before I buy. This looks too easy! You use the legs for the bottom straps, and sewed the white material on for the top straps? I love the fact that it has "built in storage" - perfect for a quick run unto the store with the car keys and a few dollars. Great idea.

LOL, yes I just cut the back off the jeans and frayed the edges in the wash and cut the loose stings. For the top straps I went super easy as well and just did a zig-zag in denim color along the edges of some cotton I had. I found as long as the straps are wide I dont have to worry about padding. It took me about 30 minutes top to make it. I should take pics of houw the straps are attached though, thats kinda important for comfort. I'll do that and post an update. But anyone could make this ABC!

How clever! And it looks comfy too with those wide straps!
Have you tried the front of some denim overalls yet? I think that would be a great idea but I haven't tried it yet...someday LOL
