i love to wear my five mo. old baby in my didymos but it seems she gets bored after five minutes. she cranes her neck around so she can see whats going on...and i don't blame her. it would be boring to stare at my shirt all the time! i know its better anatomically to face inward but i can't keep her content in the didymos unless she's sleeping. any ideas? i try taking her shopping in it but she will only last five minutes max. thanks!

Have you tried the hip carry? At five months, even if your baby isn't sitting unassisted, she can ride on your hip as the wrap will support her.

You can also turn her around so that she does face outward; just make sure to spread the fabric widely from knee to knee so that her whole bum is supported.

Have you been to thebabywearer.com? You will need to register (just like here), but they've got a great page with links to lots of different wrap carries: http://www.thebabywearer.com/article.../WrapLinks.htm.

Good luck!
