My son is two and a half. He doesn't want to be held or worn. And yet. I really want to buy a Hotsling. What the hell am I going to do with it? Pet it? Show it to random mamas lugging their little hip-babies because they know nothing about slinging. HERE TRY THIS, PLEASE! Please!! Hey... don't run away, come back... slow down!!!

Uhhh.... wait for Eli to be asleep and then pop him in there napping. At least you can get a baby fix and he'll be none the wiser. LOL

I am just getting to know the Hotsling. Fab thing!!

My sister is TTC. I went to the Hotslings website. They have mesh slings for carrying babies in hot weather/to the pool. My sister lives in AZ. I am totally getting her one of those! She's not even pregnant yet! She is not crunchy, either. I just think it would be so helpful to have a mesh sling with a newborn...

Divorced mom of one awesome boy born 2-3-2003.

Whatever is wrong with you must be similar to what is wrong with me because it is 100 degrees here and I trying to decide which micro-fleece Peanut Shell to order, lol.

I agree with the "make another baby" sentiment. Of course, all my kids want to be slung. Including the 5 yr old. People stare at me with a freaking kindergartner in a ring sling at Kroger. Oy! Only as a treat for him though, and only if we are alone and on a very short trip. :LOL

I feel the same way about breastfeeding gear. It didn't work out with our littlest - our NICU babe. The 2 yr old occassionally nurses, but I miss it so bad. I told dh we definitely need another little nurseling. Great reason to be reproducing, huh! But you NEED another one to sling, right?

Tamara: hs'ing Christian mom of five here and five in Heaven. Joyfully awaiting Punkin, coming mid-Sept!

Well there you go. You needed a super cool carrier for that doll you're wearing. Maybe you can use it for a purse.
