So, I just bought a fleece pouch and I am surprised at how uncomfortable it is! I have emailed the company to see if they can give me some advice on whether we got the wrong size (we got a medium based on their guidelines). My son is 3 weeks old and it seems so tight on him! I can't imagine him being able to use it as he grows.

To be fair, we haven't actually given it a good go yet. I am nervous because he has been puking a lot and I don't want to get it dirty or I can't exchange it. Anyone out there have one of these and have any suggestions? Is it really supposed to be THAT tight?

Any help is appreciated!

It should be snug enough that it holds baby high on your torso, not dangling around your hip, without being *crazy hard* to get baby in.

It is supposed to be snug, otherwise you'll be carrying to low and your back will pay. I know when I first had one, I was like no way was I getting my baby into this. You'll also be losing some of that postpartum weight so as your bab grows, you'll probably getting smaller. Also, as he weighs more, his weight will stretch the pouch out more.

Are you snapping at the largest setting? If you are, you may be able to go up a size as there is some overlap between the sizes. The two loosest row of snaps on a medium are the same as the two tightest row of snaps on a large. I'm sure Kangaroo Korner will be helpful on helping you decide whether to go up a size.
