i get so much grief for slinging my dd...she's NOT uncomfortable

so...i decided to teach someone else how to babywear to be constructive about the whole thing, rather than nasty....you know, channeling the energy elsewhere...

my girlfriend has a 9 mo HUGE (27 pound), very hyper ds. yesterday, i taught her how to hold him on her hip with my extra otsbh!!! she was SOOO happy. she's a single mamma who was desparate for free hands, especially since he just started crawling and she just chases him all day. plus she's in school and works...so she just needs to get stuff done, you know?? i was sooo happy for her!

just wanted to share!

mountain loving, nursing, homebirthing mama to beany (12.05), zoomy (4.09), and one more in january.

Cool! We went to Babies-Backwards-R-Us yesterday to look at a few things, and I wore my DD, in the hopes of converting some of the mainstreamers. Heh.

If you recruit enough people to babywearing, do you get a new toaster oven? Or maybe a new mei tai?
