My friend let me borrow one for as long as I want to and I would love to use it but holding my DD is more comfortable than wearing that thing. I have back problems but it isn't really hurting my back it is hurting my shoulder and neck.

Hmm. Are you making sure to spread out the fabric over your back and shoulders? Sounds like the baby might also be a little too far down. I like to put the baby in, untie the knot, and do a little bounce as I tighten the rails. It makes baby come up further and secures things a little better. If your baby is in the right position you should just be able to kiss the top of their head.
