hey there ....

thanks for all the recs for a mei-tai for big 12-weeker. we're definitely gonna get one and i'm currently stalking tbw fsot.

i was talking how i wished Soren would go cradle, that way we could wear him for naps b/c of course, he always naps better in arms. but, as dh pointed out, he does love to splay diagonal across our chest/torso -- that position alone sometimes puts him to sleep. i wish i had a dig camera to post & show, but basically his head fits in the elbow crook of my right arm, sort of up high, my arm supporting his back and my hand grabbing his butt. his little legs just sort of hang down closer to my left hip. sometimes i wrap my left arm around for additional support -- but usually not. i can pretty much manage holding him w/the one arm.

so could a ring sling support this position? even for a chub of a nugget of a baby?
