Product name: Maya Tie
Brief description of product: Mei Tai type of carrier with wide straps
Store/Site of purchase: http://www.naturallycozybabywear.com/
Price: bought for sale price; usually priced at $74.95
How long have you used this product? a little over a month
Fit/Sizing: Comes in medium (waist smaller than 32") and large (waist larger than 32") - We got a medium and made it work for us, though neither of us have a waist smaller than 32".
Performance: Great! Carries our 25+lb. baby more comfortably than other carriers. His weight is distributed across the back and shoulders wonderfully, due to the wide wrap-like straps. Baby boy falls asleep in the Maya Tie (with Daddy) nearly every night, after refusing to nurse to sleep. It's definitely their preferred carrier.
Workmomship: My husband has a habit of testing products to make sure they'll endure much strain. He did the same for the Maya Tie before purchasing (receiving odd looks while doing so), and it held up perfectly. We haven't had any problems whatsoever since we bought it.
Customer Service/Communication: My husband bought the Maya Tie at the in-home shop of http://www.naturallycozybabywear.com/
and received hands-on assistance with the Maya Tie. We're also welcome to contact the seller with any questions or concerns.
Would you purchase this product again? Yes! We're thinking about getting a second - one for the house, one for the car - so we don't have to move it back and forth all the time.
Have you made a complaint to the WAHM about the product? If yes, please provide details of any resolution or lack thereof: No
Additional Comments: Terrific product! Very impressed! It's very dad-friendly as well!
I give it (How many thumbs up out of five?):
