Up until last week the great breastfeeding debate was centered on where to do it and for how long. But Trevor MacDonald, a 27-year-old transgender parent, has raised an ever bigger question: who gets to do it?

He gestated a child and now he is nursing him. Just like us, I dont see any difference other than how he identifies and the fact that he doesnt look like a female. His body functions like a female, so i just dont understand what the big deal is.

Although, I do have to say that his blog is pretty judgy-judgy towards moms who choose to exclusively pump or formula feed.

I think it's awesome! It's one way to freak out the establishment;). The most shocking thing I learned from the article is that it's possible to get a PhD in parenting. Wha? Is that an honorary degree? smile.gif

What I don't get is that he seems to want it both ways. If you want to be a male, then be a male as best as you can physically and mentally be.
