presentation for health care class
I have to do a group presentation for an intro health care class. There are three of us in the group and we will each have 5 minutes to speak/share visual aids. We all agreed our topic would be childhood obesity.
I want to suggest each of us picks a risk factor. Of course I'm thinking along the lines of infant feeding/ breast vs. bottle, not spoon feeding 4 month old infants, CLW, etc. (I thought maybe the other two students might pick something like lack of outdoor play, food deserts, etc.)
So here's the question: What do you all think if me framing this as "One of the risk factors for childhood obesity is feeding formula" rather than "breastfeeding lowers risk of childhood obesity".
I am worried that people will hear "bfing" and go to that place in their mind where all they hear is sanctimonious preaching. I thought flipping it might catch people off guard and make then listen more. There's a pg girl in the class, I already had to hear her talk about loving CIO. I want her to hear what the real message is. Breastfeeding doesn't make your child healthier...formula feeding makes your child less healthy.
Make sense? Thoughts?
