It's really a confidence booster when you're congratulated for doing something a lot of people look down on.
Here's my story.
I was out in town, filling out some applications and my son, Jude, started getting hungry and fussy. I don't cover up while nursing because he can't get a very good latch half the time without one. I decided that it would be in his best interest if I just fed him right then and there, so I did. Several women and a couple of men told me it's a good thing what I was doing and said they were happy for me. That made me feel really good.
Just remember that feeding your babies is more important than someone else's opinion. Do what's best for you and yours and don't listen to negative opinions. If breastfeeding isn't seen more, then it will never be accepted as the "norm" here in the U.S.A.
