I went for my ultrasound yesterday. (It's boy BTW) When the test was over DD announced, "potty". So while DH brought her I asked the tech if she had any kids. (I have had several ultrasounds for some early problems and she always my tech so it wasn't like she was a total stranger) She said she was pregnant with a girl. We were small talkikng about babies and I said, "Oh might I just add I highly recommend breast feeding"
She said, "really? b/c my sister couldn't do it. She was too stressed"
I told her how sometimes the first the month can be hard but it worth the fight to stick it out. She really listened and I told her to check out kellymom for resources. She wrote down the web address and said, "Thanks I'll be rethinking my decision"

The first rule of homeschooling: water the plants! :

WTG! I always feel to afraid to offend if I bring stuff up that is totally off-subject like that. I sorta just wait till it comes up. Almost everyone I talk to says "Have you heard of the book BabyWise?" so needless to say, that is always a good way to bring up other ideas. I love how you just up and reccommended it! It is good you were upfront about it being hard at first. I always say that, and DH thinks it will scare them off, but I think you should know that before the baby comes, so you don't think you're a freak when things get hard.

Anyways,..I thought it was cool, WTG!
