I attended the Nurse-In with my 29 mos. nursing daughter & 5 yr old weaned daughter & a friend & her nurslings. The vibes were great! So many hip, crunchy, beautiful mama's with their amazing children.
Got many nods of approval & I, personally, did not see any negative incidences. Word is, tomorrow's (Wed.) show will be focused on bf & the Nurse-In. With all kids in tow, it took us 5 hrs from Philly suburbs (should have taken 2.5!!)

Homeschoolin' Mama chicken3.gifto Dd1 2/3/00, Dd2 1/13/03, Ds1 3/11/06 & Ds2 11/18/10!!

i watched a whole 10 minute thing about this on MSNBC lastnight. I cant remember the anchorman's name, but its a popular show....anyway, he interviewed a woman from newmom.com and he was nice and serious and asked good, pertinent questions about NIP. and the woman answered very eloquently and simply. It was a GREAT interview and great coverage of the nurse-in! he counts down the top 5 biggest news stories of the day, and it was the #1 story of the day on his show, so it got the most attention.

"Countdown", with Kieth Oberman. He's pretty good. The only guy who actually publicly allowed questioning of the Ohio vote. I've been wearing a hat that says "Lactivist" on it for about a year, now some people might actually know what it means
