also thinking how about having a page or section that lists all tv shows/ movies that show bfing in a positive light? (sorry if someone submitted this idea already. it's hard to keep up. ) i don't watch the show, but i think 7th Heaven did a good job supporting bfing fairly recently.

It timed out for me, I will try back later.

What do you need help with? I can write or research just about anything, so give me an assignment if you want!

Can you do the summery per state??? BTW anyone can add me to an IM, to the left.

I totally agree with you and plan to add much more advocacy info to my own site and possibly start a side WAH business in BF advocacy too. I am quite fed up with society as well and agree we can't change much unless we try.

I am tying to focus on media & what they need to know to write factual articles. So jump in & look for a need on the site & fill it.

how about things you have to do to suppress milk after birth?

I am putting these things out there to trigger arguments/questions for the press - maybe a did you know section?

Can you find links or write an article?

Did you see the letters written in response to the "Lactivists: Chill Out!" op ed in the La Times? Look in this thead:
http://www.mothering.com/discussions...d.php?t=298924

If the posters will give you permission, those letters would be EXCELLENT to post on your new site.

Awesome job on the website!!

One possible typo. On the "Who Are We?" page, should it be "We want to ensure our babies & children have a right to eat". You currently have "insure".

Oh yes, one more thing.

I work for GE Access Distribution in Colorado (part of the big GE family). We have a "Mothers Room" with a comfortable couch, running hot water, fridge, mirror and a lock on the door for moms who want to pump.

YOU GUYS ROCK! I have a suggestion.. how about changing some of the pictures on the main page to older babies. People are already more comfortable with newborns breastfeeding. Seems after 6 months they really have a problem with NIP more.

Oh, and yes, have Jaclyn do the VS picture. She's gorgeous and Jett is a super cute too! I have picts I can contribute if you'd like. Tell me what you want and I can take more. How about some daily tasks done while BF? It's not all cuddling in a rocker and happy gazes now is it?

I used what I had. I can replace a couple if I have others that are of the same quality.

here is a great blog by a guy/father that I found.

http://www.richardsilverstein.com/ti...tfeeding-moms/

Also, wasent there some good nursing references in that Daycare Dad (?) movie with Eddie Murphy? Has Malcom in the Middle been mentioned yet (she nursed and pumped when returning to work). Although on Friends Rachel stopped nursing quite soon, the 1st wife of Ross and her partner nursed for a long time, including pumping when it was *daddy's* weekend. Then of course there is the Hand That Rocks the Cradle......but maybe not the angle you are looking for

Do you have one that focuses on the child so it fits with the other photos?

How do we want to include the info about "The View". Should it have it's own page? What should it be called?

I think material on "The View" could be under the heading "Ignorance in the media". If you wanted to do a sub heading for all of "The View" topics, that might work.
