I only caught the last half of this new show, but it was about premies in the NICU at a hospital (this is a t.v. drama, not a reality series). A new mom was being wheeled in to see her 30 week twins and she asked the dr. "Can I breastfeed?" and the dr. said, "Not yet, but we'll get you started pumping right away."

Later in the show one of the nurses referred to the pumping again and said, "She's got a freezer full," and the dr. ordered a certain amount to the premie via tube and made a comment about how it was important for the baby's immune system.

They also showed a mother doing "kangaroo care" and possibly breastfeeding (hard to tell).

I was impressed that a typical television drama would be this breastfeeding aware.
