Not sure if this is lactivism since it is about weaning but my ds is 3 1/2 and we will be having his weaning party on the 17th of this month. We will have nursie balloons, gummy nursies, and nursie cupcakes and he gets to wear the nursie crown that his older brother wore. He is excited about the party and the next day my dad will take him and ds1 to DisneyLand. (ds1 got to do all of this as well). Anyways down to my actual question. A friend of mine is invited to the party and she wants to make ds a t-shirt w/ a cool saying on it. Does anyone have any ideas?
TIA
i'm the friend, but i wanted to post my idea too.
get a stamp with a hotdog outline and put the word wean on the inside, and have the saying
wean'ed but not a wean'er.
can't wait for the party

If you serve hot dogs you could sing the Oscar Meyer weaner song... There are plenty of kids shirts with the O M theme you can modify.
oh gosh I love these!
I really like:
Wean'ed but not a wean'er
See I didn't nurse forever...
Weaned before college
I weaned and all I got was this lousy t-shirt
I am giving my DS a weaning party after the first of the year. Its mostly up to him as I want him to be done with nursing before the party...but I am loving the T-shirt Ideas.
I plan on inviting everyone I know to congratulate my DS on his big step toward childhood.
yup. in our family breasts are used for nursing so they are called nursies. So we have a no nursie any more party w/ nursie everything.
The party went great! My friend made a shirt that said "see I ded wean before college" ds loved it. He just got back from disney land on sun. and hasn't asked to nurse. Thanks everyone for all of your great ideas.
