Organic Earth Lovin' Mama on the second quiz.
That was fun!
Organic Earth Lovin' Mama on the second.
I like yours better, Theoretica.
Me and DH and sweet baby DD born 08/2011.
Your family loves the natural living lifestyle, and you fantasize about having the resources to someday take the plunge and become Uber-Crunchy. You embrace the natural living mentality wholeheartedly. You will go out of your way to buy locally grown, organic, and raw, and your homeschooled children have rarely (if ever) been to a doctor. Instead they know that there is always some brew you can concoct for their health. Most of your friends are pretty crunchy, but in some circles you are considered 'the hippie'...a thought that makes you smile for hours!
That's me, except most of my friends are mainstream, wait, all of them are...
Affordable, natural skin care for all ages
My Result: Organic Earth Lovin' Mama on the 2nd quiz.
I guess it's those darn shoes, keeping me from becoming a full-fledged hippie!
Well, that and my IUD.
Though I prefer to think of myself as Papa.
The first one I got 109. I think it was all the ones I couldn't answer (like about mama cloth... Don't use it, but then I don't use the other stuff too.)
As for most of my friends... They are weirder then I am, but not all in a crunchy way.
If it looks like I'm trying to pick a fight... I'm not, I'm rarely that obvious.
Humanist Woman Wife , & Friend Plus Mama to 6 (3 mos, 2, 9, 13, 17, 20)
Second quiz: Organic Earth Lovin' Mama
"...in some circles you are considered 'the hippie'...a thought that makes you smile for hours!" LOL, the only crunchy people I know are you all here on MDC. I have no crunchy family or friends, so sad. Some people know about some of my crunchiness but they'd die if they knew what I really believe and some of the ways I live (family cloth, for example, not that I hide it). If DH and I had a baby, I could totally envision his family not wanting him/her to play with their kids because s/he wouldn't be vaccinated (or just selective, delayed and separate).
Kali (pka Michelle) ~ crunchy wife to Cory (09/06) ~ Mama to H (03/90) & I (06/92)--both ~ BF for 35 consecutive months ~ x 4
My Result: Uber-Crunchy Grape Nutty Mama:
For your family, every day is an experience in learning to live on, and with, our earth. Your homebirthed and homeschooled children bask in the delights of your self sustaining farm.
"Off the Grid" is a primary focus of your family's existence, and other than extended family that might think you a bit odd, you don't keep company with mainstream society if it can be avoided.
i would say that sounds right
The second one: Organic Earth Lovin' Mama - especially this line:
and you fantasize about having the resources to someday take the plunge and become Uber-Crunchy, and Most of your friends are pretty crunchy, but in some circles you are considered 'the hippie'...a thought that makes you smile for hours!
My family.... hmm not so much love for the natural living lifestyle, just ask DH about his take on family cloth and oh yes I am the "hippie" for sure!
And you who seek to know Me, know that the seeking and yearning will avail you not, unless you know the Mystery: for if that which you seek, you find not within yourself, you will never find it without.
My Result: Granola Mama
You believe in the best of both worlds. You embrace the natural lifestyle as much as you can, while enjoying the urban pleasures of commercialized life. Your local farmer's market is a neat learning experience for your kids, and you enjoy surrounding yourself with equally lifestyle conscious families. Still though...there are some things that just seem, well, odd about those *really* crunchy people at the co-op meetings.
off to take #1 now...
129-90 Mmm! Love that whole-grain crunch!
plus 129 on the other one, some kind of whole grain tortillas.
I was creative only with one answer. I never used a sling but I chose "made my own sling" because I made one out of my own hips. I still carry him around almost all day.
That was fun
Dirt worshiping, creatress Mama to Rowan and Alden - home birth loving, no circ, no vax, extended breast feeding, cloth diapering, baby wearing, cosleeping
It wasn't really geared toward me, though, since I have teens now, and I couldn't answer with what I did do with them because if I did have babies now I'd be doing it a lot differently!
But what can I do? I'm a public school teacher, and my DH is a college professor. We're the Man.
