I would get rid of all the crappy advertisements-disguised-as childrens-books (The Goldfish Counting Book, movie tie-in books) and replace them with Leo Lionni books.

I would get rid of all those horrible remote controled crib toys that parents can control from a distance so that they don't even have to go into their baby's room to comfort them. They can just push a button and the swirley fish/light show/winnie the pooh/whatever will do it for them!

I'd replace them with the Snuggle Beds (those little co-sleepers for new borns that sit in the bed) to help new parents ease into co-sleeping with confidence.
