I thought I'd jump in here and get things going! I see us on EST have been looking for the new thread

QOTW: What theme have your dreams taken on? Mine have been ALL about ex DP's. They all make me wake up so nostalgic. I haven't had any birth/baby dreams.

This weekend was nice. Some friends came in and stayed with us THurs. - Sat. THey just moved back from Steamboat Springs Col. and are adjusting to living back in the south east!
Then we did our belly cast (available for viewing in our yahoo group) Almost passed out from slouching till it hardened. A little bit creepy!

Court~your online nesting is adorable! (to view her hard work, go to our group)

~much love mama's

I was not sure who to reply to first, but since this thread was started first I will go ahead and get started here for the week.

Krnflwr..I love the name Emma Grace. Very pretty Dh and I have like Emma Kate since before we got married, but we never had a girl and now we have moved on. I think you done good

Katie...thanks for posting on the baby positions. This little guy has his back on my left and I get the jabs on my right. Thankful to know that this is an ideal position

As for predictions, I am starting to wonder about Oct. 7th. Can you add both dates to my name Piglet?

QOTW: I don't dream about any past dp's. Dh was my first kiss, first everything. I was pretty picky and though I had guy friends, there was nothing but friendship. I had seen many friends get hurt and knew that that is not what I wanted...so I waited for dh and he is perfect for me That said, I have only dreamt about this baby a couple times, or where the baby was talked about. One I had last week was someone telling me that I was going to go early, which I admit would like to come true

Gottaknit..I hope you are doing ok. I don't think I have read a post from you since you told us about the preterm contractions. Hope all is well.

So the boobs are starting to leak Guess they are getting ready to be put to work

Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

qotw: i haven't had any weird dreams, i hardly dream at all! before i got pregnant i had totally crazy dreams, so i guess the hormones had the opposite effect my husband dreams of Willow, the oldest he's seen her is about 4, with curly auburn hair, it's so sweet

good to know about the baby's back on the left, kicks to the right ... at least she's all lined up

Momadance, I saw the other post first and responded there...but you came up with one humdinger of a QOTW! Maybe we should save it for next week? I still want to respond though so if we do use it again next week I will repeat myself, :LOL.

I haven't been having baby dreams this time either...I had one at 32 weeks and that's been it! With Ember I had oddles of them, some even prophetic which was really cool!! (like I had one where a woman told me "You are carrying a girl" as it turns out I was ) I think that the absence of dreams was really what pushed my curiousity over the edge and got me wanting to find out the sex this time.

So I have definately had my share of Ex dreams...not just Ex's but old friends, too. So nostalgia has been a theme for sure. Oh, oh, oh...I this has stirred my memory and I do remember having one labor dream this time, it was quite aways back and felt the same as Embers, not painful, so of course I am hoping it is right.

I didn't even see this thread before! And I'm one of those on EST too. Glad I'm paying attention .
QOTW: At first I was having tons of baby dreams, all boy babies, all blonde, and varying in age. Maybe the same baby at different ages? I remember someone posting about their belly unzipping and baby coming out... that very same week I had one where baby came out to be consoled, I held him till he stopped crying, then he went back in. But none of them have been about labor- it's like I wake up in my bed just after the birth and there's a baby in my arms. Kinda strange.

The past few months I've been having mainly sex dreams. They started out being about ex's, but thankfully switched to very realistic dreams about DH, probably one of the few things keeping me sane :LOL (see other thread for this week)

You know I have been hardly dreaming this pregnancy. And when I do dream they are hardly ever about the baby or being pregnant. Instead my dreams are strange and surreal and very difficult to explain.

Although I did have a strange one the other day. It wasn't about my birth though, it was about Lucysmama. I dreamed that she, her Dh and Lucy showed up at my home when she was in labour because they had decided that Vancouver was the perfect place to have a baby. So confused and surprised I let them in, allowed them to set the birthing pool up in my living room and then left my condo so that they could have some privacy. The dream kinda made me giggle when I woke up. I guess it kinda shows how conected I feel to you gals. You people are sneaking into my dreams and I haven't even had the pleasure of meeting you face to face!

Well I'm a bit late in joining the club but Here is a brief intro and then I'll tell ya about my dreams. I'm due w/ #2 on Oct. 24 could possibly be a halloween baby. Doc says since I was late w/ Liam I could be late with #2. We haven't had a peek at the sex. It's my big reward for labor. Hopefully DH this time aroudn can tell me the sex. He was too in awe last time and was speechless so I had to ask the doc. We have our names picked out Tara Grace for a girl and Kyan Andrew for a boy. Hopefully this brief intro is helpful.

I've had tons of weird dreams. Thankfully this time around 99% of the sex dreams are w/ DH. Last time they weren't. I can't remember some of the good weird ones but they have been really odd! At least the sex dreams are more enjoyable this tiem becuase they are w/ DH. I've dreamt that DH's family found out where we lived and showed up. Long story about his family. Bascilly we just don't talk to them and moved recently and didn't tell any of his family that we moved.

If I remeber any of my wacky dreams i'll be sure to post them. I looking forward to getting to know you gals.

Carrie! Glad you found us!

My dad is a Halloween baby and I've always thought it was pretty cool (as a kid who wouldn't when we got to have cake and go trick-or-treating all on the same night ) It's still neat because it's become a tradition for all the family to get together at my parents house on that night and then take the kids out together. I really love the names you have picked out, especially Kyan, it's always been one of my fave boys names.

Thanks for the compliment on the names OakEmber. I actually just discovered Kyan. I was watching Queer Eye for The Straight Guy and I saw the name Kyan and it hit me that that was the name for the boy. We previously had Rowan Cole but I wasn't really in love with it as I am with Kyan.

That is so cool to know about your dad and how you have a special Halloween. That sounds like so much fun. Now I'm not too nervous about having the baby on Halloween. One on hand If I do have the baby on Halloween I'll be a but bummed because I'll miss Liam's first Halloween where he actually can have fun. The other 2 times he was too young to really do anything. Oh well that will be ok. My sister said she'll tkae him to Boo at the Zoo. If I can't make it. So He will have fun. He will get to be with her and he loves his uncle and cousin (who thankfully is a boy and 5 1/2 months older).

I'm getting excited for this one to be here but getting a bit anxious about having 2 kids now! Thank goodness for slings! I don't think I'll survive without it.

Hope everyone has a good day.
