There have been threads in the past asking about getting up in the morning to wrokout vs. later in the day. Ifound this article interesting to explain why each person feels differently and how to work with your body's rhythm. Basically as somewhat of a "night owl" in a family full of "early birds" I always felt lazy at not being able to get things done early. Now I know it wasn't that at all.

Interesting. I'm an early bird and my husband is not. There are definitely times we don't get each other. He has a hard time understanding why it takes me 3 times as long to do anything that involves thinking at night.

Interesting. Our family are all early birds, I've always been thankful that we're on the same "clock". My husband and I both do much better throughout the day if we get up and workout. Not too early though, we both prefer to workout at 8ish in the morning....too bad for that pesky little thing called work.

Very interesting. I've always been a night owl, as was all of my family growing up. I tried for months to wake up early and work out, but it was really hard and I felt drained rather than energized the rest of the day. I go to the gym in the afternoon/evening for classes, and I truly enjoy my time and feel energized. When I tried the 6am classes I was yawning through the whole thing and I was so tired afterwards.
