The race was today! I wasn't as prepared as I wanted to be or should have been, but I did it! It was painful, I won't lie, and I have a sunburn, blister, two purple toenails, and very sore feet to show for it...oh yeah, and a finisher's medal!
Wow! Congratulations, that's awesome! It must have felt amazing to cross that finish line. I got to go to (no, not run in.. lol) the LA Marathon this years to take pictures and marathons have such a neat energy about them.
Very proud of you

I'll be there with you next year! ...if you do it again! Lol.
I'll be there! Not sure what distance...definitely not full, maybe half. The LLL group here has a few girls that want to start running/walking, and they're talking about doing the 10K maybe. I don't know! But I'll definitely be in the race

Awesome! I ran my first marathon last October. It's one of the most amazing feelings in all the world to cross that finish line. No matter what, for the rest of your life, you can call yourself: marathoner!
