Hi,

Has anyone put on weight after having their tubes tied?

I did, but I also started working night shifts, and not watching what I eat. So it's hard to tell the culprit.

It's been 2 years since I had them done, it was a great decision. As of right now my PCOS is acting up, but honestly this is the first time in 7 years, so I doubt it's the tubal that caused the problems.

Thanks for replying.
It has been a month since I have been trying to loose weight with no results.
So I am getting worried now whether it has got to do anything with having my tubes tied.

a tubal doesn't generally cause weight gain.

Did you change anything else at the same time, such as meds?

Are you happy and empowered the the procedure, or feeling a little down because of not being able to have more babies? Unhappiness can cause us to hold on to weight. Do you feel guilty about it, or peaceful?

I suspect that the two aren't related at all. I'd look at what you are doing to loose weight and think about tweaking it.

but everything has pros and cons  shrug.gif
