I'm finding I need to exercise for stress more than anything! But when I do a good workout I'm dehydrated and starving for days afterward! I realize I'm probably chronicly dehydrated and I eat all the time...already! I donno if this is the correct place but it's somewhere to start. I'm tandem nursing my 4.5 and 2 year olds.
I'm feeling semi motivated to try a triathalon or two this summer with a group of friends but I'm thinking maybe I have no buisness doing this right now!
I would spend a week making sure your eating habits are well established, especially being a nursing mama. Just be super diligent all week, even tracking calories just for an idea of if you're eating enough. Drink lots of water.
Then the next week, ease into exercise at a comfortable level, incorporating it slowly into your routine. That's what I have to do.......if it's been awhile since I've had a good workout, or if my eating is all over the map, it wears me out too much. But if I ease into it all, I tend to stick with it longer and it's not so exhausting. :) Not that I'm an expert or anything, just an idea!
