Anyone read the book or tried the diet and exercise plan? I have Hashimoto's disease and what is considered an "unstable" thyroid. I was diagnosed almost 18 months ago and we can't get my meds/thyroid levels right. I can gain or lose 5-10 pounds in a months depending on my meds. I'm working with a good doc and naturopath and they are both recommending similar things. I've been working out a lot and with a trainer and in the last 7 months I've lost 5% body fat, but not any significant weight. I'm just over the ideal weight range for my height and size. I'd love to lose 20 pounds, but think I really need to lose 10. I've been a vegetarian for 20+ years, but my naturopath really thinks I need to try to eat meat. We also discussed this book and I've been reading it, but am wondering whether anyone else has tried it. I'd appreciate any feedback!
