I've never heard of that '143 perspective.'
Yay for wanting to get to a healthier-for-you-weight -- whatever it happens to be.
I started on a path in June 2010 to lose 100 lbs in a year -- knowing that I was about 125 lbs too heavy for my height and for what I wanted to do with my life (i.e. be more active with my family, and LIVE for a whole lot longer.)
I've lost 100 -- now have my sights set on that extra 25.
Go for it, Mama! It is so worth the work.
i'm 5'8" too! i'm in it, 143 sounds perfect!
my plan is to eat according to eat to live, run according to c25k and work out according to 30 day shred. that the plan for the next month or two and then we shall see. oh and yoga twice a week!
i LOVE this. love it. i actually have a tattoo of 143, because of the 'i love you' and it coincided with the street number of a communal household we (the residents) loved so much.
i'm shorter but stocky framed, i have felt healthiest when i weighed in the 140s.
i'll set that as my goal, too. i can get pumped about that.
