My schedule is still crazy busy, but I'm really trying to prioritize working out. I did well last month shooting for 500 minutes, so this month I'll go for 600.

Hello everyone! New to this thread! I've gotten into the habit of daily yoga, but I'd love to get more variety into my exercise, if I can find the time with my five year old (home full-time) and two year old!

 

My numbers thus far:

3/1 - 30 minutes yoga; 15 minutes rebounding

3/2 - 60 minutes yoga class

3/3 - 30 minutes yoga

3/4 - 30 minutes yoga

I realized something kind of cool today. I've been trying to get in a lot of strength training lately. I've been doing pilates with weights, and doing a couple of strength training videos lately. At first I was doing a pair of 3 lb hand weights, then those got too easy so I went up to 5 lbs, and now those are getting easy as well, so I need to get a pair of 7lbs. I knew my arms were getting more toned.  But I was taking out the trash and doing chores today and I realized that I'm actually getting stronger, as in, I can lift heavy stuff more easily. It made me feel super happy.

I need to find a more reliable calorie counter for this. According to myfitnesspal, this burned 476 calories. The only stroke I have success with is backstroke and I wasn't going that fast!
