05/01 - 45 minute total running with husband on trails

05/02 - 50 minutes elliptical

05/03 - 55 minutes at gym

05/04 - 20 minutes rowing

05/05 - 40 minute total. 30 running and 10 on the stairs at the gym

05/06 - 60 minutes 45 trail run and 15 walking cooling stretching with hubby

05/07 - 70 minutes total 60 on the stairs at the gym. solid 10 stretching before and after

05/08 - 73 total shoulder arm and core workout running that stupid tiller

05/09 - 70 minutes total 60 on the elliptical - 8.3 miles (I was kicking butt!) - 4 stretching before and 6 after

05/10 - nada - spent the day with my 14 year old

05/11 - 90 minute run including 17 minute walk, stretching and cool down

05/12 - 35 minute yoga for runners 608 total

05/13 - 70 minutes   running with hubby

05/14 - nada

05/15 - 68 minutes - 60 on the stairs - 8 stretching

05/16 - 90 minute run

05/17 - I know I did something!  Can't remember

05/18 - State Championship Track and Field - watched my kid all day

05/19 - 30 minutes walking in MS Walk

05/21 - 90 minute easy run

05/22 - 90 minutes at the gym   solid hour on stairs then arms and stretching

05/23 - 60 minutes total.... about 52 running then stretched until my hour was up

05/24 - another day off!

05/25 - 90 minutes running.  walked for 23 minutes talking to my mom on the phone.  stretching .....

05/26 - 114 minutes. 88 running 10.5 miles. Then stretching and cooling before and after.
5/27 - 80 minutes     73 running with my dd.....we did walk a bit and the rest stretching and cooling

5/28 - 15 min yoga

05/30 - 35 minutes on the stairs

05/31 - 54 minutes running trails

 

1494 total    shoot!  I would have run for 6 more minutes this morning.

 

Where is everybody?!?!?!


Trying to do the right thing with three kids and a hubby.

I was BBQing.  The long weekend was one big BBQ crawl.  Mmmmm, grilled pineapple.   eat.gif

5/1 - 40 minutes walking; 15 minutes Bikini Body Workout (It's a 30 minute sculpt session, but my young Miss woke up and would not accept anything other than my undivided attention!)
5/2 - 60 minutes walking
5/3 - 60 minutes walking
5/4 - 45 minutes power yoga
5/7 - 30 minutes walking
5/8 - 60 minutes walking (2 30-minute sessions)
5/9 - 50 minutes walking; 50 minutes gentle yoga
5/10 - 50 minutes walking
5/11 - 70 minutes walking
5/13 - 60 minutes walking
5/14 - 45 minutes walking
05/15 - 5 minutes warm-up on the elliptical; 25 minutes free weights and body-weight exercises.  Yay, squats!
05/16 - 80 minutes walking... it felt good to move my thighs after those squats!
5/18 - 70 minutes walking
05/21 - 45 minutes walking
5/22 - 60 minutes walking; 20 minutes glutes and abs
5/23 - 75 minutes walking (two walks); 5 minutes elliptical warm-up followed by 30 minutes of squats, push-ups, etc.
5/24 - 30 minutes gentle yoga (ahhhhhhhh...)
5/28 - 45 minutes walking
5/30 - 70 minutes walking (two walks); 30 minutes squats, lunges, etc. ... No warm-up needed since I FINALLY got Little Miss to fall asleep at the end of the walk and could just seque right into body-weight work when we got home.  Woohoo!!


1225 Total/ 255 "Something other than walking..."


Hahahahaha!  Same goal next month - 800 minutes!  I'm going to keept setting that goal until I reach it, by golly!
(I've never been accused of being smart.)


damselfly41 - speaking of Texas getting steamy, our "cool" day this week will have a high of 90F.  My morning walks keep getting earlier and earlier, and oh MY do I crank the AC and the fan when I'm working on getting my *ss to the gr*ss with the squats.

MrsG, we had a 'cool' day this week, too! Lots of storms lately made for slightly cooler mornings. I tried to enjoy it since very soon we will be sweltering with no rain in sight!
