207.5   Finally lost the 15 lbs I gained from nursing. Yay!  Next goal is to lose the 15 lbs I gained while pregnant with my ds.

 

 

Exercise plan for week:

 

Mon- Walking

Tues- Hockey class ?/walking

Wed- 1 hour hockey- no classes because of Halloween

Thurs- Walking

Fri-League hockey game

Sat- Family outing

Sun- 1 hour hockey class

Okay, I gained a pound, so I am back up to 276.  But.... I lost 1/2 inch from my waist.  My leggins are getting pretty loose in the waist.  I don't know how many times I had to pull them back up when i was at my United Methodist Women conference this last weekend. 

 

I only got 1 workout in this weekend, due to the conference.  I lifted weights in the hotel's exercise room for 30 minutes.  Didn't eat very healthy this last weekend at all.  I guess cheesecake doesn't count as a health food winky.gif.

Gonna get back on track this week.  I plan on going to the gym and working on the exercise bike and lifting weights for an hour this afternoon.  Had a mandarin oranges fruit cup and 2 graham crackers for breakfast this morning.  Drinking some water as I write.  thumb.gif

Monday weigh in:152.2. crap.gif

 

Oh well, it's to be expected when I hosted DS's birthday party yesterday. Despite that the pumpkin chocolate chip cupcakes were very low in sugar and 20 g of carbs per cupcake, the wheat in them did not agree with my stomach. DS enjoyed them. I still am expected to make "brain" skull red velvet cupcakes for halloween. I'm the "baker" of the family. I will make them for the big kids here (aka DBF, his dad, and his niece. lol) but it sucks that I can't join along with them. greensad.gif Such torture...

 

BUT I guess I can always share one with DBF. lol.

 

And at least I can join DS in eating homemade sunbutter cups. (He's peanut/treenut allergic)

I hate when this happens.  I have been bouncing from 276 to 275 back and forth for months.  I will lose inches, but the number on the scale stays the same, even at the doctor's office.

am going to see a doctor in 20 days' time

and for the follow up of  my treatment, it would be best if i could be at least 20 lb lighter ....

i know i cannot loose that amount of weight in that little time span

.... but i feel more motivated now in a way .... with the date written on my calendar

SO today is the day when i start the "no sugar whatsoever" phase of my eating plan .....

(am trying to be reasonnable with carbs too  - wish me luck !!!)

My BIGGEST problem is with sweets.  I think if I could wean myself off of those, I would probably lose some weight, but my will-power is nil.  (just finished eating a fun-size 3 musketeers bar  angry.gif

 

I've got to get a grip on this.  I'm tired of weighing what I weigh and looking like I look.  It's unacceptable.

Okay...November is a new month...


Oh, I know! All that candy DS collected and the leftovers for passing out... they were staring me down. I didn't give into those. *phew* BUT the brainy skull cupcakes I made.... it was delicious but I told myself "ONLY 1!" My sunbutter cups were disgusting so I only had one of those. I have a very big sweet tooth and was able to wean down to about 2 tablespoons of sugar a day (mostly for my daily cup of green tea) but it was a VERY slow process to get there.

so far, so good

we had our delayed halloween celebration (due to 3 days of continuous rain ....) and i managed NOT to eat any sugar

(just a few sips of fizzy drink, to try what DD2 had in a cafe)

today's work out was ... cleaning and moping floors this morning & walking twice 20 minutes at high speed this afternoon

My kids have allergies so they trade in their candy for toys. Now I have a their candy and a couple of bags of candy that was supposed to be given out. We only had 4 trick or treaters this year. I'm resisting it so far, but need my dh to take all the candy to work. 

 

I managed to get some skate time on Halloween. Only a 45 minutes because my back is hurting. League hockey game tonight. Taking extra Advil so I can play without pain.

Yet another crazy week. Did my team triathlon even last Sundry - it was fun, but I hurt my knee which has severely limited my activity this week (trying to give it a rest so I can do my 5k today).

I'm starting a new business venture and still teaching my full course load. Dh is not being as helpful as I would like, but I do appreciate what he is able to do.

I would have been 245.8 on the 22nd, not 145.8 (I wish!). That was probably my typo, though, not yours. I have to make the hundreds correction almost every time I type my weight. My brain just can't accept that digit.

Went to bootie blast class today. bellyhair.gifI expect a gain also as DBF bought me a candy bar for Halloween (hershey's cookies n cream. yyuuumm) I felt obligated to eat it so I did eat it a little at a time. But I saw my red velvet cupcakes in the fridge that were a couple days old and I was like "aaaaaggghh... it's going to waste!!!" so I ate the 3 that was left....in one sitting. disappointed.gif Yeaahh... no more sweet temptations until Christmas.

Anybody up for a week long challenge???  I challenge everyone, for the week of 11/5 - 11/ 12 to drink at least 64 oz of WATER. Every day.  Lets make those scales move in the right direction!

I have been craving water lately so I will join the water challenge.  Scale is saying 151 this morning!  I might still make my end of the year weight goal after all.  Ladies you are so
