Does anyone use anything else to add protein and nutrients? Ground flax seeds? Nutritional yeast? I realize the powdered protein is by nature processed, but I was looking for the least processed as possible, and am interested mixing this up a little bit.
Have you looked into hemp seeds? We use them in smoothies and for every 2Tbsp, there's 5-6g of protein. These are what our family buys. We keep a mason jar full in the fridge and the rest of them in the freezer. We refill the mason jar as needed. Hemp seeds have a nutty taste to them.
