Jaxy, I have found that the best thing to help me resist junk food is fruit. Sometimes a crunchy apple and air poppod popcorn, or sweet cherries or strawberries, a banana with a bit of peanut butter, or clementines. I try to keep these washed and ready to eat. Having some thing ready when the snack attack comes is so important.

No exercise today, but I did the Tracey Anderson mat workout DVD twice this week. I have a new barre DVD that I'm looking forward to trying.

I say to myself (and sometimes it works orngtongue.gif) "You can have that after you earn it with a piece of fruit."  Or after my meal, whichever is most appropriate for the time of day.  Then, if I still want it, I put a small bit in a bowl or cup and enjoy it without feeling guilty.

ETA: try packing a snack in your car or bag for the drive home.  Then at least you won't be so hungry and won't eat so much of the junk.  Most of us love the the stuff now and then.  Don't make yourself feel too deprived!

After the kids go to bed I'm doing my C25K run.  I'm on Week 3, Workout 2.  Getting exercise in this week has been a struggle.  I'm committed to getting my runs in because I have my first race scheduled for June 1, so I HAVE to get the training in, but the strength training is where I'm falling short.  My 2yo and 8wk old have decided they're going to be on opposing nap schedules eyesroll.gif

Micah_mae, don't beat yourself up. Make better food choices for the rest of the day and into the future and exercise a bit more to compensate. Life happens. I was having an ice cream craving tonight. Instead I went for non-fat plain yogurt.

Today I walked with DD in the ergo for 45 mins. We usually go every morning for 30 mins to an hour while she has her morning nap before I go to work. We just beat the rain today! Micah_maye I have the same problem. If I have something yummy and sweet it's like all my resolve goes out the window ad the cravings drive me crazy!

I walked a little bit today. Well,it's more like limping. I wear an ankle brace for support. Frustrated because my surgery got postponed due to insurance issues. Hopefully will get straightened out soon. I need the ankle screws out,so I can learn to walk properly. Delays getting back on the ice. greensad.gif

I was proud of me last night, DH got him some ice cream so I baked some kale chips and loved it!

Alright today I had some (light) beer, but I weighed myself tonight and weighed as much as this morning! Which is a good sign! Cant wait for the first weigh-in :)

Oh dear, not a very good start for me I'm afraid. Sorry team greensad.gif. Will try to do much better this week.

On the plus side, I did do 4 walks which is big for me - I detest exercise.

168.4! I'm excited. I buckled down after the Easter madness and I brought all my food to work (and no money so I wouldn't be tempted). I also had some crazy shifts at work where I didn't eat between breakfast at 0600 and getting home at 1945 which probably helped. My goal now is to stay in the 160s, not visit briefly as per usual. smile.gif

133.2. Hmm...apparently, I need to exercise more. I did 3 walks this week but I guess that's not enough. The weight is really slowing down... I need to go back to p90x/turbofire. lol.

178.8 for me this morning.  I'll gladly take a 2.6lb loss considering I struggled with getting my runs and workouts in.

weight today- 152.5

I seem to be stuck right around 150 right now.  DS is 8 weeks and I dropped to 150 right away and now I am fluctuating right there.... I don't know what I can do to really get it down further.  I was 150 when I got pregnant with him though, so being at pre pregnancy weight already is nice too.... I just want to get to the weight I was before I had DD2 (140ish).

Any tips while nursing without decreasing my supply?

Weigh-in 156.  Down 1 pound.

All my big, amazing losses came back when I still weighed 188.  The losses creep these days!.  Still, there's more I could be doing without be drastic, and if I keep a steady pace, I'll hit my goal.  I know I only did the minimum for exercise last week.
