7/1 - 20 minutes brisk walk, 60 minutes pole dancing

7/2 - 40 minutes crossfit

7/3 - 40 minutes crossfit, 60 minutes polefit, 20 minutes brisk walk

7/5 - 30 minutes crossfit

7/8 - 40 minutes crossfit, 60 minute pole dancing

7/10 - 40 minutes crossfit, 20 minutes soccer with DS

7/11 - 20 minute walk

7/12 - 40 minutes crossfit

7/15 - 40 minutes crossfit, 60 minutes pole dancing

7/17 - 30 minutes crossfit

7/18 - 40 minutes crossfit

7/19 - 30 minutes crossfit

7/23 - 40 minutes crossfit (power lifting and burpees, it was a real ass-kicker)

Total: 1050 minutes

 

I have a meeting tomorrow when I usually do crossfit, so I think 1050 is my total for the month (may squeeze a 20 minute walk in there, but that's probably it for the hardcore workouts.) Yay for meeting goals!

Nice, Lab, I totally missed the Aruba part! I bet that was a blast. My husband and I got to work out in an uber fancy gym on a trip to Barcelona last month -- lots of fun.

1-3 330 min moderate to easy walking/hiking

4-5 10 min yoga each day

6    10 min yoga; 40 min moderate walk

7    10 min yoga; 90 min moderate to intense hike

9    10 min yoga

15  Finally!  25 min yoga.

18  45 min scrubbing 3 grungy showers at work.... I deserve more but won't be too greedy

19-21 minimal anything-- no yoga (harumph!)--incredibly busy

22 off camping-- I claim 30 trips with the girls to the potty-- does that count for something?

23 aha! 2 hr hike (easy to moderate)

24-25 a little easy walking.  Very little.  Won't count it.

26 easy swimming with the girls.  Active day-- worked with the girls.  I'll count 10 min.

27 sat on my ass 8 hrs driving, plus 3 hours at baby shower.  If the ticker could go backwards, I would have lost most all of it.  Bleeeeeegh.

28 actually did 5 good minutes yoga, even through my girls' screaming match.  Om shanti shanti om......

29 5 brilliant minutes of yoga.  

30 60 min moderate-intense walk

Some medical issues came up for me and I needed to refrain from exercise. Boo! Thankfully I improved quickly and have been able to do gentle exercise for the last week or so, but I didn't keep count. I'm looking forward to rejoining in August and hopefully getting closer to my goal then. I've loved reading and being part of this thread. You are all inspiring me! Thank you! flowersforyou.gif

Congratulations to everyone!   I love how this thread has come together and encourage so many people!  And it looks like we had fun doing it huh!!

 

 

 

7/1 - 30 minutes weights

7/2 - 45 minutes run
7/3 - 30 minutes total. Walking on beach and laps in pool
7/4 - 40 minutes total. 20 minutes swimming laps 20 minutes running
7/5 - nada
7/6 - driving home from vacay
7/7 - 50 minutes on the stairs at the gym
7/8 - 110 minutes   30 minutes intense weights at the gym.  Then 80 minutes running at the park with my daughter. 
7/9 - 40 minute hard run

7/10 - 25 minutes grass - push mower

7/11 - 50 minute run indoor track - too fast because my foot kills today

7/12 - 75 total  30 minutes weights - 45 minutes walking - stupid foot

7/13 - 80 minutes total - solid 60 running.  Then walked and stretched with hubby

7/14 - nada

7/15 - 60 minute walk around track with xc moms.   Needed it cause of the foot.

7/16 - 50 minute run

7/17 - 90 minutes total at the gym.  Weight class, elliptical, roll out and stretching

7/18 - 110 total - 60 minutes running - 10 minute stretch, warm up and cool down - 40 minutes push mowing the yard (hardest part of my workout!  Sheesh!)

7/19 - 70 minutes using the pushmower.  My arms are killing me from yesterday.  And it was hot.  

7/22 - 70 minutes running with my hubby in Aruba!  Walked a little since he is a little injured.

7/23 - 55 minutes in the gym at  the hotel fitness center

7/25 - 55 minutes in the gym again

7/26 -  60 minute trail run

7/27 - 75 minute long run

7/29 - 30 minutes at the gym - weights

7/30 - 100 minutes total - 40 minute hard trail run - 10 minute cool down and stretch - 50 minute brisk walk trail with my friend who is trying to get healthy

7/31 - 40 minute lower body workout - stairs, easy run

Well that end of the month sucked. I got that bad stomach bug that everybody else got too. BEHHH!!! Still having a hard time after a week!

 

Anyway, I decided I was not going to do the August challenge. I did the last 5 months and kicked some ass, lost 20 lbs!!! But it's very, very hot right now, and I think I need a break. Also it's been crazy at work, so between taking care of baby and the house during the day and working during the evening, I am left exhausted. ANYHOO, I will see y'all in September! :) Much love!
