750 Back in the game baby! I need to start doing core strength exercises... For some reason just thinking about it discourages me... I have no core at all... And doing those repetitive movements bore me... I gave up the 30 day shred after the 21rst day... Any idea gals?

I really enjoy the plank pose on the elbows.  Hands together for more support, forearms parallel for more challenge.  Then I tip myself a little this way, a little that way.  Lift one leg and hold.  Switch.  Do the side-arm plank up on your elbow, then switch.  Always take a moment to pull your abdomen in before forward bends.  Lengthen up and down when standing.  Warrior 1.  Do opposing poses (like the table-top pose) to lengthen the psoas, which tightens terribly with traditional core exercises and can curve the lower back and even cause a poochy belly.  There is a goofy yoga "lock" that involves the abdomen.  Amazing.  Focus on pulling your core into all your exercise, rather than always relying on repetitious crunches and such.  When I have more time, I can find a link to a great yoga core workout.

Oh wow, thx SweetSilver! My only problem right now is to fit yoga into my schedule. I need a routine and stick to it. I don't want to eliminate runs and bike rides because I know they're a big part my weight loss... But I need to start dedicating a good 10-15 mins a day to yoga.
